what i learned most from this class is to be accepting of all children and embrace their differences. i also learned that there is alot more then meets the eye to being a teacher. there are so many hours of lesson plan making and learning how to best educate your students ect. i did not realise it required so much intricate planning. I really enjoyed my time observing the third grade classroom. from that i have learned that i would like to teach third grade. what struck me the most in this class is that there are so many different ways to looking at something. there are so many teaching theories and guidelines that it is important to switch up your teaching styles. I really enjoyed writing and reading other peoples blogs. if we did not have blogs i do not think i would have learned as many things about each person as i did. Beverly Weaver's blogs always seemed to inspire me because she has so much passion to become a teacher and help underprivileged kids. overall i am sad this course is ending because it was alot of fun learning the basics of how to be a good teacher!
